Well, life as I know it has changed so dramatically since my last post!  Changed in a good way (so far).  I've changed jobs, I'm now at a help desk position (more in my field then working at an ISP).  I get to work with people, and get to know them.  Getting a new job has been good.  I only have to one, it has 40 hours a week, working 8-4:30, and in the summer 7-3:30.  And since getting that job, we were able to get a bigger apartment with 2 bedrooms in case our family would expand (not sure how that works), and has heat and AC that we can control.  It's a little expensive, but a very nice place in my opinion.  Sarah's still working her job as well, and was moved to full time.

We still have car troubles, but who doesn't? Inspection for my 1991 Ford Tempo is this month.  There was about $500 worth of things the mechanic could do, but on both rear corners, it was rusted through clear to the trunk!  He didn't want to do that.  So Ken, being the great step-father he is, worked with me and helped me patch it with sheet metal.  The best part is, most if it is under the bumper, so you can really see it from the outside!  There are a few easier parts I had to fill in with bondo, but that's not major problem.

Here's the kicker (literally).  Sarah and I have had the CUTEST baby boy named Bladen Paul.  Born the last day of June, which is Sarah's dad's birthday. He was born 2 weeks 2 days early.  Sarah had to be induced because she was showing signs of pre-eclamsia.  She had high blood pressure and protein in her urine.  Sarah had a bowl of cereal before we went in for our weekly checkup at the OB, and the saw the protein in her urine and decided it would be a good idea for us to go to the hospital and get some more tests taken, and put on the monitor for a while.  Her blood pressure was pretty high (and she's a small person).  The baby looked good.  They  had us do another ultrasound to make sure the positioning of the baby was correct and he was head down.  We even got some 3d pictures taken of him, but they didn't do justice to how cute he is now!

We got back up to the birthing suite room they had us waiting in.  We were pretty happy we finally got a different room to be in up there.  We had been there a couple of times and they always put us in the same boring small room.  That room was actually the room my nephew was born in, we just wanted a change of scenery.  We waited in the room for probably 2 hours and had lots of questions asked.  Finally the doctor called and said that he wanted to induce!  That was quite a shocker and I was really excited about it.  I began shaking nervously.  I texted my sister and told her to get ready, I was going to pick her up.  I had her order me some Pizza Joe's pizza (the best).  She and I went to my apartment and picked up the bag Sarah had packed the day before for the hospital trip.  At our Lamaze class, they suggested that we pack a bag, so that we don't have to do it last minute... or so that I don't have to.

They gave Sarah medicine to "ripen" her cervix so they can induce the following day.  Sarah hadn't anything other than a bowl of cereal for the day, and I felt really bad for her .  I didn't really sleep that well, I was excited and nervous at the same time.  I had $60 in cash at the beginning of our hospital adventure.  I spent it all on food.  It really wasn't that bad, it was pretty delicious!  So the day went on, and people visited.  At one point, Sarah's blood pressure went up to 147/105.  They had her on lots of medication: magnesium so that she doesn't have seizures from pre-eclamsia; Blood Pressure medication; and the regular saline stuff.  It was really hard to turn her over because of all the cables that were hooked up to her.  One of the nurses we had was really mean and kept kicking visitors out.  Sarah progressed really slowly, cervix wise.  But at one point, she fell asleep for a while, and she dilated 6cm in about an hour and a half! The ruptured the membrane (broke her water), and seriously, there was about 2 gallons of water that came out.  It was really gross, and cool a the same time.

When Sarah had her motherly urge to push, the doctor and nurses would not let her  because her BP was so high.  She was in a lot of pain.  A few times the doctors left the room and left us by ourselves with Sarah's legs propped open and ready to go.  Finally they came in and let her start pushing.  After they let her start pushing, it was only about 10 minutes until our son was here.  At one point, both of us were worried because he didn't look like he was alive.  I saw a bunch of blood gush by the doctor's hand and I though she had accidentally cut his neck with her nails somehow.  But I think it was just a pocket left over from Sarah's insides.  Eventually he started letting out his tiny little cute relieving cry.  I cried my eyes out.  At least 5 times.  I could not stop crying, it was just so beautiful!  He weighed 5lbs 5ozs.  I got some foot prints on my New Daddy shirt.  They wouldn't let Sarah breastfeed him right then like we wanted, because he was making a noise, which means that his lungs weren't doing too well.  They took him to the incubator to get him warmed up.  I went out and saw my family and let them know what's going on.  Eventually we brought them back to see Sarah and Bladen.

In one month he was up to 8lbs 5ozs!  He is doing really well, and mostly sleeps through the nights once he gets to sleep.  We wake him up for eating of course.  I'm really happy to be a Daddy to my very own son!  Sorry this was really long.

So a customer called in today about an issue with their computer.  They were on the phone with Dell for about 1.5 hours.  They called here and I fixed their problem in under 1.5 minutes.

I > Dell

I'm good at my job... I'm very good.

So life now is pretty good.  I found a job at the local ISP as tech support.  So far I'm doing pretty well, but the thing is, I'm part time.  Some people here have been here for 1-2 years, apply for full time job everytime one is available and they are still part time.  This make me wonder how long I will be part time.  I need the benefits.  Right now working at Sears just blows.  The people are cool, but what I do just sucks and is extremely boring.  By the way, through my ISP I get the highest speed internet and phone for free, but still have to pay for my television service (now $71/month for HD).  When I reach full time, I will get all three services free.

So I got married back in October with my brother as the best man.  I love my brother, he's a good man, and he's been through quite a lot.  I really wish he would move back up here.  I miss having him around, even when he stayed at my grandmother's house, it was pretty fun.  It was like old times, him working at pizza joes and bring home some free pizza every once in a while, watching a bunch of movies, gaming, and ganging up on my mom... playfully of course.  The wedding was nice, and very quick.  My parents got us a hotel away from home, and got a love suite.  The theme was Safari, it was really nice!  Life's been different since being married, duh.  A woman that cries all the time, but other than that, she's the happiest person in the world.  We've been having a lot of car troubles.  Her car was overheating, not sure how long she waited to tell me about it.  The coolant reservoir was empty, I filled it up.  The car was still overheating. I replaced the thermostat with Ken's help (he's my step-dad, and fairly handy with cars).  It was actually really easy.  It stopped overheating, but the reservoir kept emptying really fast.  Found a leak in the radiator.  I tried to seal it up with quick seal, but it didn't work.  Craig, my father-in-law, gave me this sealant you pour into the radiator seemed to seal up all the leaks pretty well.  Then her muffler fell off (completely detached from the exhaust system, but still hanging).  I tied it up for the time being.  Then yesterday she comes home tell me now my car is worse than hers.  Not good news.  Apparently the catalytic converter got separated from the exhaust system.  I just had that replaced in august.  I fixed that for now, hopefully it will hold for a while.

We're thinking about trading both the cars in (91 ford tempo and 94 chevy cavalier) for a later 90s model.  The thing is we can't really make any payments.  School bills, rent, tv, and insurance are sucking us dry.  We get an extra $60/mo to mess with, maybe.  I'm thinking about cancelling tv for now.  I think later this month I get a $.50 raise, so that might help a little bit.

Sarah and I went to North Carolina for our honeymoon. It was great.  We stayed in our own huge house for 4 days, then met with the rest of the family and stayed with them.  The houses down there are so awesome on the oceanside.  We stayed in Avon.  My church use to go there all the time for vacation at the begining of the summer, which was still considered off season, so it was pretty cheap.  The house we got was still fairly big, but it was awesome, it had like a lookout tower, and was just beautiful.  Oh, Jacuzzi too.  The beach was pretty windy, but we got it to ourselves!  All in all, we had a great time.  Just the drive was a little too long.

My mother went down to visit my bro 2 weeks ago I think, and I really wish I could have gone.  Last time I went to florida was in 05 I believe, and it was really nice.  Love the hot weather, tired of this snow!!!

So in 1 week I turn 21.  Not planning on getting blitzed or anything.

So today I had to come in to school early, cause my roommate, dave, has to work on a group project, and then has an interview.  I had a chicken sandwich you can heat up in the microwave for 45 seconds, and it was rather delicious, especially with BBQ sauce on it.  I am nearing the end of my 2nd to last class quarter, and have a few finals this week, but at least I have my interview done and over with.

I am torn with a decision that I must make before this weekend.  I do not know if I should see Kyle or Sarah.  I have seen kyle the past two weekends, but we didn't really get to hang out ourselves.  But I also haven't seen Sarah for the past 2 weeks, and would like to see her.  She isn't coming home until Saturday, but I planned on seeing kyle friday through Sunday.  Sunday is easter, and we are both gonna be with our seperate families.  However, after tuesday I have a week off of school because it's between quarters, and I could always see Kyle then, because he's at my grandma's.  It's just difficult cause people are dying left and right, and I just want to spend quality time with people that I am close with, and when the schedules conflict, it's kinda stupid.  I think that I may see Sarah on Saturday, then see Kyle on Sunday and sometime during my break.

I've been looking for a car for around $1500, that is decent and currently inspected.  Everytime I find a good car on craigslist, they don't post a phone number to call, so the only way to contact them about seeing the car is through email, which they usually don't respond to.  I found a really good car in cranberry, which is pretty packed.  As soon as I saw it post, I emailed the person (this was last thursday), and they never wrote back!  It would have been awesome to get that car because it was just newly inspected, so there couldn't really be too many things wrong with the car.  I just wish they posted a # so I could have called them asap, but someone in cranberry probably saw it and got ahold of it before I was able to.  I guess it was just not meant to be.  I need to keep searching.

I missed heroes yesterday, which is a pretty good show that I like to watch.  I fell asleep at like 6:30 after watching the season 1 pilot episode for lost.  I slept for like 4 hours, and Dave says he tried to wake me up and I was responding, but I do not believe him!  Yea, maybe he did.  I'll have to find it on hulu or something.

I want a custard doughnut from KrispyKreme.  I haven't had one for a long time, and I use to get 1 or 2 every Sunday in Mercer when I had my paper route.  I had to have them delivered by 6:30 AM on weekends, which was pretty cool, until they made it for everyday!  Dad would sometimes take me on Sundays to help me with the route, and we'd listen to 101.1, which would have christian music on until 8 AM.  But on the other Sundays when he didn't drive me around, I'd ride my bike.  After I finished delivering, I would ride up to Sheetz (which I have not been to for a while), and grab a couple doughnuts, and sometimes bring home some cinnamon rolls for the fam to heat up in the microwave.  I use to make $36 a week!  I even got paper-boy of the month once.  I was a good kid.

I'm pretty annoyed by the forecast for tomorrow.  The high is suppose to be 36°, and there will be a rain/snow mix.  It's April, and it needs to no longer snow here in PA.  Pretty tired of it, not gonna lie.  I just want warm, sunny weather, it could rain too if it wants.

This weekend, Kyle and I were out shooting some pistols, which was pretty fun.  Started exploding glass bottles and shooting at alien targets (no aliens were actually harmed in the making of our fun).  Then the cousins joined us, and the bullets were gone through like popcorn at a movie theater.  We spend a 550 bonus pack of bullets, and half of another.  It was good to be with the family at my grandma's house.  I got to see my great grandfather, and got to have banana pudding.  So apparently my great uncle was shot in Nam, and it didn't really hurt initially.  Jesse, the littler (well not littler, but younger) cousin, kept asking questions about the war, and it's usually things people want to know for some reason, but it's not easy to talk about because of the psychological aspects.  So we got him to stop, but still kept joking about it.

Today, I finished my career development class.  I had to do a mock interview, and he said that I did excellent, which is pretty sweet.  I like dressing up in a suit.  I even used Ken's briefcase, and got a little leather "padfolio" for my resume, reference page, cover letter, and thank you letter.

I also beat Portal again today, and love the "still alive" song they play during the credits.  http://www.playlist.com/searchbeta/tracks#still%20alive    It's a rather fun game to play.  If you have not already, I recommend playing it.

I remember watching the music video to this song that Aaron showed me http://www.playlist.com/searchbeta/tracks#blood%20red%20sandman

Kyle and I watched Blade 1 and 2 last week, and they are still as good as ever. I got Sarah to watch Blade Trinity with me on Valentine's day, which was sweet. Some of the family watched Blade 2 on Grandma's huge tv and good sound system, so now Sarah only needs to watch the first one to complete the trilogy in reverse.
On a sadder note, Kyle is leaving Pennsylvania to go back to Florida again...only being here for about a month. Guess the next time i see him will be in October for the North Carolina trip. Hopefully I will be married to Sarah by then, and if not she is coming with us anyway (HOPEFULLY).
I enjoy the beach a whole lot, and especially love it when I am with the whole family. It makes me think back to the old days when we would go with the church and I get the nostalgic feeling, which I love. I love my past for the most part, and enjoy thinking about it. It makes me happy.
